Adding the ability to negate exceptions in splitters would be a significant quality-of-life improvement. For instance, you could configure a splitter to send Iron to the right output while directing all other materials—except Iron—to the left. This feature would offer more flexibility and precision in material sorting and distribution.

When you configure a separator, you need an apply button; without it, the necessary resources are discarded from the conveyor.
