queue research for locked research options

for example i started a new game and i started researching regolith processing but i cant queue the next tech options that come after that, being able to queue locked items would be handy as an idea.

I believe the reason they haven't done this is because you can begin research on any item in the queue and raise its position in the queue this may result in players being able to complete research of a technology they haven't unlocked. if they disabled the ability to do that research then it makes it more likely a player will waste research and may cause issues if the player fails to recognize they have queued a locked tech.
