Contracts place too much pressure on the new player in the beginning

Greetings! While contracts are amazing, it feels like they are way too much pressure at the beginning (once they start having expiration timers). As I first played through, I feel like I have to complete them all because of the stress placed on them by the communication explaining the contracts.
