Conveyors should be cheaper and give full refunds
When you reach the stage where you want to go full Factorio/Satisfactory with your production lines, you quickly run into a massive wall which is raising money just to build more conveyor belts. Running a single T1 belt from a mine to your central elevator to link into your refinery and smelting grid can easily cost 20-30k cash alone. That's far too much for sprawling factories.
In addition, belts are something you're very likely to need to tear down and rework quite frequently, so they should almost certainly give full refunds on their costs to allow the player to restructure their factory as necessary and not need to preplan everything ahead of time.

AH2016I also fell into this trap. I recognized the buildings giving full refund and expected this to be the case for the conveyors as well. I started to reorganize my base and until I suddenly found myself without credits...

And yes, their costs seem out of place compared to all the other things you build.
And why do they cost credits at all and not materials like all the other buildings? This disturbes the immersion. -

CluNelloFYI refund% has been incresed with 0.91.00 Patch ("Beta"). There is also a new research availabe that would provide 100% refund.

ТимурЛично проблем не вижу. В этот момент и возникает важность менеджмента ресурсов и выполнения "нужных" контрактов. Игрок должен выбирать самые выгодные, торговать на рынке, что бы обеспечить ресурсы. А 100% возврат не одобряю. даже если конвейер сложить в инвентарь (склад) его необходимо демонтировать вначале, а потом смонтировать - это все деньги и траты ресурсов

NecranomI agree that there should be a cost to the belts, but I feel it should be a cost in materials not credits. You can burn through millions of credits in seconds when you start using the Tier 5 belts.

Andy Tycho@Aleksander, @Тимур — it just doesn't make sense. It's not logical whatsoever. Everything you build in this game requires construction materials. Except belts. They just magically materialize from the thin air and from virtual ones and zeroes from the hard drive of the bank account. That just doesn't fit. Doesn't make sense. It's not believable as part of the game setting. Not plausible.
It's just... not logical.
There are other ways to make a money sink, that doesn't increase the WTF/minute meter. Purchase-only endgame resources (like drones), market taxes, technology unlocks, heck, even a monthly property tax — all this can be justified by lore and feels plausible. Instantly materializing belts from 1's and 0's of the bank account - does not feel plausible, nor logical, nor makes any sense whatsoever.
