Clicking a drone (or maybe even use a mouse-button-square to catch a few of em) to direct it directly to a certain job is definately a QOL-major thing!

Yes, this! This could also help with freeing stuck drones. If I demolish a building a drone got itself stuck on, often times, the stuck drone tries to demolish it. Which isn't exactly helping :-) It would also help in room construction. You can't really prioritize the floor tiles and walls properly, and you just need that one tile in the cornet to finish.
